Kirkburton have been playing both competitive and non-competitive badminton for many years.

​

We run through the conventional season from September through to Easter, this year starting Wednesday 6th September. Following the Easter break, we have a summer club that runs until mid July.

​

🧍‍♂️🧍🧍‍♀️We have members of all age ranges, ranging from 15 to 70, so don't be afraid to come down and give it a go!

🚻We also encourage the younger generation to come down and play friendly and competitive games.

 

🔷Where do we play?🔷

🟩Club nights Wednesdays at

Huddersfield Leisure Centre (courts 1-5) 7-9:30pm🟩

Kirkburton Badminton Club nights include 4/5 badminton courts. We use professional feather shuttlecocks (Yehlex premiership), all you need to bring is yourself with appropriate footwear and a racket It doesn't matter if you are new to the sport or just coming back from the Commonwealth Games, everyone is welcome here at Kirkburton Badminton Club.

🔆It’s more than just Badminton🔆

▫️It's not all the sport at Kirkburton, it’s about the social side too! The Kirkburton’ers are often found in the pub for a well deserved drink after club nights & matches▫️

 

🎉If you can’t stay up too late on a school night - we have regular social events held throughout the year, including start and end of seasons, and a Xmas tournament!🎉
